2008 MEET GUTS TUTORS 2008

We would like to take this opportunity to send out a very special thank you to Ryan Steinbach and Katrina Brown for their hard work and dedication to tutoring and helping other students.

Also, a thank you to all volunteers, without you, we would not be able to provide FREE tutoring to all students on campus.

To sign up for a tutor, stop by the GUTS Office at 302A Union South Monday-Thursday from 11am-5pm.

RYAN STEINBACH

ACADEMIC MATCH TUTOR (MATH)

What do you like most about tutoring?
I enjoy the excitement students get when they finally conqueror the problem and the challenge of presenting the material in a way that the students will understand and grasp the concepts fully. It is also great meeting new students.

What are your favorite activities?

I enjoy discovering new places in Madison. I sometimes take walks that will take me to completely random and wonderful hidden sections of the city. I also have taken up amateur photography to try to capture those places.

What is your dream job?
I wish to become a math professor someday so I can continue my two passions: math and teaching.
