Foreign Language Learners
Foreign Language Learners matches UW volunteer tutors fluent in a foreign language with foreign language students for a weekly conversation hour.
Foreign Language Learners is ideal for students who already have a basic command of the language and are looking to practice the language in a social setting. Want help for your foreign language course? Check out the GUTS Drop-In service or Academic Match groups!
We offer weekly group tutoring in French, German, Spanish, Chinese, Korean, Japanese, and more!*
Groups are led by one volunteer tutor and include no more than six members. Groups meet for two hours every week.
Once you submit your registration, our staff will match you with a volunteer tutor as soon as possible depending on tutor availability.
